How to install Nomad Plus?

The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus has a belt installation in order to fit any car, as you cannot predict which car your taxi or your Uber driver will pick you up with. You need to slide the vehicle belt in the two lap belt slots located under the backrest cover and place the diagonal part in the red lock-off.

Is the Nomad Plus equipped with ISOFIX connectors?

The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus is not equipped with ISOFIX connectors as it is built for travel. Thanks to its light weight (4,26 kg), Nomad Plus is easy to take everywhere. ISOFIX connectors would have added weight, making Nomad less easy to transport. Even without ISOFIX connectors, Nomad Plus is very safe to use thanks to its belt installation.

Does the Nomad Plus fit any taxi, Uber or rental cars?

The Nomad Plus easily fits any car thanks to its belt installation and is quick to install (less than 30 secs).

Can I bring the Nomad Plus in the plane as carry-on luggage?

The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus fits most of the airline carry-on luggage dimensions. But as the allowed dimensions vary per airline, please check if the Nomad fits the carry-on luggage dimensions of your airline prior to your flight.

How long can I use the Nomad Plus car seat?

The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus car seat is designed to suit children from 9 to 18kg (approx. 15 months up to 4 years) and is developed for an intensive use of 12 years after purchase. To ensure the safety of your child(ren) during the lifespan of the car seat, make sure that the product is not damaged (harness or pads lost, etc.).
