Tummy time is the cute alliterative term for time our babies spend developing their core, neck and upper body muscles, and it is vitally important. As our little ones strive to hold up their head, then their chest, essential muscles are strengthened and toned, muscles that are instrumental in baby being able to protect their heads in a fall.
